ELIGIBILITY FOR GST REGISTRATION

Upon Reaching Turnover of 20 Lakh

If your annual turnover exceeds ₹20 lakh (or ₹10 lakh in North Eastern states),GST registration is mandatory.

Inter-State Sales or Service provider

Anyone supplying goods or services across state borders must register for GST, regardless of turnover.

E-commerce operator:

Anyone who owns, operates, or manages a digital platform for e-commerce such as Flipkart or Amazon.

Vendors selling through Ecommerce Portals

Persons who supply goods or services through ecommerce sites

Non- Residents & Importers

Non-resident individuals or companies supplying goods or services in India must obtain GST registration, irrespective of turnover.

Supplier of Online Information

Anyone providing online information or database services from outside India to customers in India must register for GST, regardless of turnover.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CGST VS SGST VS IGST

Central GST (CGST)

One part is levied by the State Government and the other by the Central Government. The tax imposed by the Central Government is known as Central GST (CGST).

State GST (SGST)

State GST is the component of GST collected by the State Government on all goods and services involved in intra-state trade.

Integrated GST (IGST)
